Registration for our FREE Fall and Winter Evening Programs and Saturday STEM Club are now open!
Thanks to generous funding provided by Actua, the following evening and Saturday STEM programming is provided completely free of charge and is open for any youth ages 9 to 13 (as of the start date of each session).
(Girls Can Update: Due to grant funding cycles, Mini U is hoping to have our ever-popular Girls Can program return for the Fall of 2027. Stay tuned!)
A.I. Explorers (Tuesday Evening)
Dive into artificial intelligence concepts like computer vision, machine learning, generative A.I., and game development with hands-on activities and real A.I. tools that foster creativity and problem-solving. (No coding experience required!)
Who: For all genders ages 9-13 (based on the start date of each session)
When:
- Time: Tuesday evenings, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (drop-off from 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM, pick-up from 8:00 PM – 8:15 PM)
- Dates:
- Fall 2026: Oct 6, Oct 13, Oct 20, Oct 27
- Winter 2027: Jan 19, Jan 26; Feb 2, Feb 9

Mission to Mars (Tuesday Evening)
Embark on a perilous journey with our space program to learn about what it would take to populate the planet Mars. Explore the challenges and dangers of space travel, how to engineer and build rovers to explore the surface, and what is needed to build a sustainable settlement to bring humanity to the Red Planet.
Who: For all genders ages 9-13 (based on the start date of each session)
When:
- Time: Tuesday evenings, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM (drop-off from 5:45 PM – 6:00 PM, pick-up from 8:00 PM – 8:15 PM)

Saturday STEM Club (Saturday Morning/Afternoon)
Learn how to use science, technology, engineering, and creativity to solve problems. Each week is a new problem that requires designing, building, and/or coding to solve. Learn about artificial intelligence, robotics, engineering and more!
No experience required to attend.
Who: For all genders ages 9-13 (based on the start date of each session)
When:

- Saturdays: Oct 3, Oct 10, Oct 17, Oct 24, Oct 31
- [Fall] Session 2 – Nov 7 to Dec 5:
- Saturdays: Nov 7, Nov 14, Nov 21, Nov 28; Dec 5
- [Winter] Session 3 – Jan 9 to Feb 6:
- Saturdays: Jan 9, Jan 16, Jan 23, Jan 30; Feb 6
- [Winter] Session 4 – Feb 13 to Mar 13:
- Saturdays: Feb 13, Feb 20, Feb 27; Mar 6, Mar 13

- Drop-Off/Pick-Up Times:

- Sessions 1, 2, 3 and 4 contain different activities, so you may register for one or more if you wish.
- You may register for either Group A or Group B in the same session, but not both. You can register for a different group in each session if desired (i.e. Group A in Session 1, Group B in Session 2, etc).
