Job applications for 2025 summer positions are now open! For details on available positions, please see our job postings at https://www.brandonu.ca/jobs/

Any potential offer of employment is contingent on submission of the following:

  1. A Criminal Record Check (form available here for Brandon residents; for anyone else, please consult your local RCMP office) for staff will be 18+ at any point during employment;
  2. A Child Abuse Registry Check (form available here) for staff will be 18+ at any point during employment; and,
  3. Valid certification in at least Emergency CPR/First Aid (Level C; includes infant, child and adult).

The above applies to new staff. Returning staff DO NOT need new record checks, provided you have remained a student at Brandon University the entire time since the last time you worked at Mini U (note: your CPR/First Aid must still be valid). All fees for background checks and certification are at applicant’s own expense.

Note that 18+ volunteers are also responsible for submitting Criminal Record and Child Abuse Registry Checks to Mini U, but are not required to have CPR/First Aid.

  • Please make sure to provide the reference’s e-mail address AND at least one phone number (preferably for their work place).
