Our ever-popular Junior Mini U program is split into three grade levels: Junior Chipmunks (Pre-K* to Kindergarten), Junior Turtles (Grade 1), and Junior Moose (Grade 2). All three are available as Full-Day or Half-Day programs.
Please note: Every Friday afternoon is Waterpark Day for full-day and PM-only Junior Chipmunks, Turtles and Moose (weather permitting). Please send a swimsuit, towel, hat, sunscreen and water bottle with your child.
Junior Chipmunks (Pre-K* to Kindergarten)
This one-week program offers an exciting mix of physical activities, arts and crafts, music and science. Our activities are hands-on, varied, and based on weekly themes such as Outer Space, Tropical Discovery, and Ghouls and Ghosts, so Chipmunk participants can come as often as they like, with new, fun activities every week!
*Must be a minimum of 4 years old by the start of camp and be fully potty trained.
Junior Turtles (Grade 1)
Adapted from a previous version of our Junior Moose program, the new Junior Turtles program will focus on providing campers with the opportunity to make new friends and experience a wide range of structured activities that are designed to be hands-on and adaptable to a variety of learning styles and experiences.
The Junior Turtles program is organized into morning and afternoon sessions, with three activity areas in each half-day slot, drawn from the following list:
Fantastic Friends | Dynamic Designers | Wild Discovery |
Crafty Kids | Turtle Games | Move 'n' Grove |
Space Explorers | Simply Science |
The exact schedule of activities varies each week, so participants can attend one or many weeks of camp without getting bored.
Junior Moose (Grade 2)
Newly re-vamped in 2017, the Junior Moose program provides more challenging activities and provides a better transition between Junior and Senior Mini U programming. The Junior Moose program is organized into 7 different themed half-day camps, two of which are offered each week (one AM, one PM):
- Engineering Marvels
- Get Your Art On
- Lights, Camera, Action
- Mission to Mars
- Mad About Science
- Go Green
- Tech Wizards
For those attending multiple weeks of Junior Moose, activities are varied so that you can even take the same themed camp twice: all AM camps will include an appropriately-themed computer lab component, while PM camps will include a physical education component.
